The City of Helsinki Education Department provides services for a total of about 64,000 pupils and students. In addition to schools and other educational institutions, information on the Education Department’s services is available from the Information Desk, which also includes the Department’s Registry.
The Education Department’s operations cover all comprehensive schools, regular upper secondary schools, upper secondary schools for adults, vocational institutions, apprenticeship training and young people’s workshop activities. The operations are being developed in accordance with objectives determined by the Education Committee and the City’s general policies.
