Museum Education

Welcome to the Helsinki Art Museum!

This page features information about museum educational services available at our museum. It is possible to learn more about supplementary programmes, to book a guided tour or a workshop and to print out related information and assignments. You can also find information about accessibility and programmes designed for different target groups.

The purpose of museum education is to support your artistic and learning experience and to provide tools that help in gaining a deeper understanding and interpretation of art.

Exhibition-specific information and programmes are available on the Exhibitions page.

Helsinki Art Museums youth council Tennari started!

Tennari is a program that engages youth, providing resources so they feel safe to voice their opinions and ideas, ask questions, learn through experimentation and explore their world through creativity. Including young adults into the Helsinki Art Museum’s structure and activating them to become not only an important part of the museum but also their own communities.
