In case a pupil completely fails to achieve the goals of the general curriculum despite enhanced or special needs support, he/she may study according to an individualized curriculum in one or more subjects.
The pupil is given personal goals and individualized scopes of study in the subjects covered by his/her individualized curriculum. These are specified in his/her individual educational plan (IEP).
An individualized curriculum is drafted on the basis of a pedagogical investigation and a psychologist statement.
