Psychophysical physiotherapy

Psychophysical physiotherapy is therapy that supports rehabilitation of patients of psychiatry and substance abuse services. Therapeutic methods include movement, corporality, non-verbal communication, psychophysical exercises, touch, guidance and counselling.

Exercise groups for rehabilitees who need special support either due to low motivation or limited social skills.

The services are primarily provided in group format, in closed/supplemented/open groups.

Prerequisites:

Physiotherapy for patients with Body Dysmorphic Disorder, problems with body awareness or unstructured emotional control, difficulties with relaxation, a need to balancing their presence and a need to manage anxiety.

The service is intended for residents of Helsinki.
