Services of the Centre for Bipolar Disorder Research and Care

The centre offers consultations and fixed-term investigation and treatment periods for patients with bipolar disorder, who receive psychiatric and substance abuse services as either outpatient or inpatient care. Patients are only admitted with a referral from psychiatric and substance abuse services.

The focal points of the operations are diagnostics and challenging treatments of bipolar disorder.

All treatment periods are fixed term and they are implemented in cooperation with other workers treating the patient.

Prerequisites:

Patients with bipolar disorder, who receive psychiatric and substance abuse treatment either as outpatients or inpatients.

The service is intended for residents of Helsinki.
