Your primary care location in case of acute mental health problems is your local health station. Health stations are open on weekdays 8.00-16.00.
Emergency services for adolescents under 16 years of age are provided by the New Children's Hospital (Stenbäckinkatu 9, tel. exchange 09 4711). Medical help line tel. 116 117 (24/7).
24/7 emergency care services for adolescents aged 16-17 are provided by the emergency services of the Haartman and Malmi hospitals.
If you are 13-23 years of age and in need of advice or help with substance abuse, mental health or gambling problems, you can contact the Helsinki Youth Station, which is open on weekdays. You can also contact the Youth Station for advice if you are a family member or friend of a young person suffering from substance abuse, gambling or mental health problems.
