What is Service guidance for early childhood education?

From October 2021 onwards, the new Service guidance unit processes all applications to early childhood education and makes the admission decisions.

Daycare centre directors, family daycare instructors and executive playground directors will no longer in process applications or make admission decision.

With the new Service guidance for early childhood education, we want to offer an even better and well-functioning system for allocating places in early childhood education.

The grounds for granting a place will not change with the service guidance change. Learn more about the topic on the page Grounds for receiving a place in early childhood education.
