A large number of emergency medical care trainees from the various educational institutions of healthcare and the Rescue Department’s own training centre, as well as doctors specialising in anaesthesia and emergency medical care, visit the ambulances of Helsinki City Rescue Department every year.  In addition to this, representatives of cooperation partners and operators in the field from abroad have visited to learn more about emergency medical care.  In addition, national traineeships have been offered when possible.

Based on a decision of the City of Helsinki Rescue Committee, €50/week (€10/trainee/day) and a protective clothing fee of €2/trainee/week will be charged for the traineeships.
