The Helmet network of libraries in the cities of Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa have again released a series of annual challenges designed to inspire people to seek new experiences with books, music, games and film.
During this year’s Reading Challenge we will get lost, write letters and read Sámi literature. During this year’s Music Challenge music lovers are invited to look for new listening experiences, both independently and with others. Feel free to take on your friends and family in the Helmet-game challenge. The Film Challenge invites you to broaden your horizons and to look for new experiences.
The Reading Challenge is a playful, year-long reading project that offers you fifty new ways to choose what to read next. The majority of the listed ideas have been suggested by the Reading Challenge participants. In case you do not feel like taking on the full list of 50 items, check out the lighter option.
As its name suggests, the Little Helmet Reading Challenge is a shorter list of 25 items. The Little Reading Challenge is suitable for children in particular but all readers, both young and old, are of course welcome to participate.
