The school year 2021-2022 in Finnish-medium preschool, basic education and upper secondary education starts on Wednesday 11 August 2021. In Swedish-speaking schools, the school year starts on Monday 16 August 2021. Autumn holiday in Finnish schools is one-week long, and in Swedish schools two days long.
