The fourth corona vaccine dose is now available to all 70–79-year-olds in Helsinki. You need to book an appointment to get vaccinated. In the coming weeks, appointments will also be made available to persons aged 18–59 who belong to risk groups and all 60–69-year-olds. We will inform you of this separately.
Helsinki residents aged 70–79 can book vaccination appointments starting from 19 July 2022 at bookcovidvaccine.fi or by calling tel. +358 9 310 46300 (Mon–Fri 8.00–16.00).
The fourth dose of the vaccine can be administered when at least three months have passed since receiving the third dose. At this time, we do not administer fourth doses of the vaccine to persons who have received three doses and, in addition, recovered from a coronavirus infection.
“Due to the summer holiday season and challenges regarding personnel availability, we are administering vaccinations for new target groups gradually. Vaccinations are given as quickly as possible, depending on staff availability,” says Timo Lukkarinen, the Medical Director of health stations.
