Helsinkis trams have also travelled across water: tram ferry docking at Kulosaari in
the 1910s. The Kulosaari Tram Company built a line to the island of Kulosaari in 1910.
Four years later M.G. Sten-ius Oy built lines to Munkkiniemi and Haaga. These lines were
acquired by the Tram Company in the late 1920s.
