Application for the general and operating grants for resident engagement begins in April

The City of Helsinki will distribute EUR 1,096,000 in resident engagement grants this year. Participate in the online information session on 24 March 2022.

The City of Helsinki will distribute EUR 1,096,000 in resident engagement grants this year. Participate in the online information session on 24 March 2022 at 17:00–18:30.

Resident engagement grants are granted for the maintenance of community centres and the coordination of their activities, as well as for the development of structures and methods that improve residents' engagement.

The types of grants for resident engagement include general and operating grants applied for once a year and small grants applied for all year round. Grants are awarded in accordance with the grant criteria established by the City Board.

Participate in an online information session

An information session on the City of Helsinki’s resident engagement grants will be held in Teams on Thursday, 24 March 2022 at 17:00–18:30. The information session will present the types and criteria of the city's resident engagement grants as well as how to use the electronic grant system.

The application period for the general and operating grants for resident engagement for the year 2023 will begin on 1 April 2022 and end on 30 April 2022 at 16:00. The application period for small grants started in January and still continues. You can apply for grants through asiointi.hel.fi(Link leads to external service).
