Apply for the open early childhood education clubs starting in autumn 2023

The City of Helsinki will organise club activities for 2–4-year-olds at playgrounds around Helsinki in the 2023–24 school year. The activities are free of charge and organised in Finnish only.

The clubs are intended for children in Helsinki who are cared for at home. Individual clubs will start when enough applicants enrol for them.
In club activities, children get to experience being part of a group and participate in a variety of pedagogical activities through outdoor recreation, exercise, play and art.

Clubs are open early childhood education activities organised by the City, which means that children do not have a subjective right to a place in a club. Clubs are not part of the municipality's statutory services. Instead, Helsinki organises them as an additional service for families. Club activities are not organised at daycare centres.

Submit your application by the end of April. You can enquire about free places throughout the year.

We hope to see you there!
