The most convenient way to book an appointment for your child’s dental examination in Helsinki is online. The parents/guardians of children and young people scheduled for examination this year will receive a Maisa message, after which they can book an appointment. Regular dental examinations are carried out at the ages of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 14 and 17.

If the parents do not use Maisa, they will be reminded by letter to book an appointment. You can also book an appointment by calling the dental customer service centre when you have received an invitation to book an appointment.

Invitations to make an appointment will be sent to parents/guardians based on the child’s month of birth starting from April. Some of the parents will receive the message after the summer.

Children under school age

You can book an appointment in the Maisa service as soon as you have received an invitation to do so. The appointment can be made within 6 months after the child’s birthday.
