If your child is in municipal early childhood education, the places are assigned automatically
As a parent or guardian of a child in municipal early childhood education, you can accept or reject pre-primary education places in the Asti online service from 13 to 26 February 2025. In general, these places are automatically assigned to those in municipal early childhood education without the need for any further measures.
Enrol your child to pre-primary education if it is not in municipal early childhood education
As the parent or guardian of a child in home care or participating in club activities organised by the city, or a child who needs round-the-clock care, please enrol your child in pre-primary education in the Asti online service between 8 and 21 January 2025.

Apply for pre-primary education in a private daycare centre by contacting the daycare centre of your choice directly during 8–21 January 2025.
Children born in 2019 start in pre-primary education in August 2025. All children must participate in pre-primary education the year berfore their compulsory education starts.
Pre-primary education is about learning through play and shared discovery, practising social skills and reinforcing your child’s self-esteem through positive learning experiences.
Children are entitled to a pre-primary education place within the pre-primary education admission area associated with their home address. Pre-primary education places will be assigned based on their current address on 23 January 2025. You will receive the decisions on approved pre-primary education places in March 2025.
