The work starting on 24 July will begin at the end of Bermuda Bridge and proceed towards Panama Bridge. The work will begin with excavation work.

The work will involve measures such as drilled piling and rock anchoring, which will generate noise and dust. The aim will be to carry out all the stages of the work that generate noise with minimal interruptions and disruptions. The pile driving and anchoring, which will be carried out on weekdays, will begin in August and are planned to be completed by the end of November 2024.

The work will not disrupt pedestrian, cycling, public transport or private car traffic, as the area does not currently see any general traffic.

The contractor is Louhintahiekka Oy.
