Traditional signs of autumn include the moonlight swims at Helsinki’s outdoor swimming pools. Swimming Stadium invites you for a dip in the darkening night on Friday, 9 September. Moonlight atmosphere in Kumpula was enjoyed in August.
In Swimming Stadium, Stadin Juhlaorkesteri will play live music at 18:00–19:00. Stadin Juhlaorkesteri includes six professional musicians who will play instrumental music to create a unique and magical atmosphere for you to enjoy.
In deviation from the normal opening hours, the outdoor swimming pools will allow entrance until 23:00 for the moonlight swims. Swimming will end at 23:30 and you will have until 23:45 to take a shower. You will need to exit the area by 24:00. The moonlight swims are subject to the normal entrance fees (€5.50 for adults/€3 for children and others).
The swimming season at the Swimming Stadium will end on Sunday, 11 September.
