Major healthcare and health technology event HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition will be held on 14–16 June in Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre. The industry-leading European congress will present the world’s best digital health innovations and bring together companies that develop them, experts and decision-makers. The event will feature extensive programme with more than 120 lectures by experts.
Approximately 2,000 health influencers, health technology experts and thought leaders will arrive in Helsinki. The congress is now being held in Helsinki for the second time.
In addition to lectures, panels and workshops, participants will also be shown Finnish health technology expertise in practice by organising visits to interesting sites, such as the Helsinki XR Center, the Kalasatama Health and Well-being Centre and the new simulation hospital at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
Finland’s pioneering role in health technology reflected in the programme
The exhibition area of the event will feature the Finnish Pavilion, where around 70 Finnish companies will be introducing themselves. The Finnish Pavilion’s stage programme extensively highlights Finland's pioneering role in accelerating the digital transformation. In particular, four themes of global interest are highlighted: utilising health data, supporting active ageing, building smart hospitals with an emphasis on clients and care processes, and aiming for a healthy life regardless of pandemics.
On the Finnish Pavilion stage, case examples will be shared by companies and organisations like Apotti, Reaktor, BeeHealthy, Terveystalo, BCB Medical, Predicell and Duodecim.
The congress will be organised in cooperation between the HIMSS organisation and Finnish partners. The main partners in the event are Sitra, Business Finland and the City of Helsinki. In addition, several ministries, organisations and cities support the event.
