The pedestrian route along Runeberginkatu is closed for 50 metres south of Salomonkatu in Kamppi. Pedestrians will be instructed to take a detour along Malminkatu and Salomonkatu. Kampinkuja will remain in use and you can access it by walking along the side of the Sähkötalo building.

The Radisson Blu Royal hotel is about to undergo a major renovation, and the pedestrian access route running through the hotel courtyard and along Runeberginkatu is closed. It is estimated that the courtyard will be reopened to pedestrians in summer 2025.

During the renovation of the hotel’s facade, pedestrians are directed away from the side of the hotel building on Malminkatu and Runeberginkatu as the work progresses.

Runeberginkatu is currently closed to bicycles and cars and has been since August 2023, because construction work for the new Kamppi Health and Well-being Centre will be ongoing below ground. It is estimated that Runeberginkatu will be fully re-opened to traffic in 2027.

Rakennusvire Oy is in charge of the hotel's construction site and any communications on the impact of the construction project.
