Buses, trams, the Metro and the Suomenlinna ferry will run as usual and according to their regular timetables during the strike.

You can search for alternative transport links in advance using the Journey Planner on the HSL app.

Services likely to be busy

Nearly 200,000 passengers use commuter train services in the HSL area every day. At least some of these passengers will use other public transport services and alternative routes during the strike. It is likely that buses and other public transport vehicles will get crowded. Therefore, please reserve more time for your journeys than you normally would and, if possible, work from home.
