If you have a disability or illness diagnosed by a doctor affecting employment and you are about to be employed by a large employer, you can request a certificate from the employment authority on you being registered as incapacitated in the Employment Services Client Information System. The large employer is an employer who is insured in an employment pension company and whose salary amount exceeds two million euros a year.
The certificate of partial work ability reduces the threshold for a large employer to hire a worker with partial work ability and facilitates your employment. When you have the certificate, your employer's pay category will not change if you have to retire during the first five years after your employment begins.
