The phone service for health stations is unfortunately busy and there is a delay with the callback. We hope that clients only leave one callback request. We will also call back in the evenings and at the weekends, if necessary.

You can find extensive answers to the FAQs on the chatbot for the health stations at hel.fi/healthstations.

We recommend that you make a symptom assessment at omaolo.fi(Link leads to external service).  The service is open 24/7 and through the service you can be in contact with an expert, if necessary. On weekdays, we reply to contact requests left before 16.00.

The e-service channel Maisa is found at
maisa.fi/en(Link leads to external service).  Messages sent through Maisa are handled within 1–3 workdays.

Delays with the dental care callback

The phone service for non-urgent dental care is busy. It might take us several days to be able to call back.

The appointment booking for the dental care is still open at 09 310 51400 (Mon–Thu 7–18, Fri 7–15) and on the chat Mon–Fri 8–15. The appointment booking for urgent care is open at the same number on weekdays 7–14. The chat for dental care is found at hel.fi/dentalcare.

You cannot book dental care appointments by calling the health stations or Medical Helpline.

The queues are actively shortened

We are constantly working to clear congestion at health stations and dental care telephone services.

We ask for your patience and understanding. In non-urgent matters, we ask clients to contact us later. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Congestion in telephone services is partly due to the queue built up during the corona epidemic. It will be visible now and in the coming months in the city’s health services. The city is actively working to shorten the queue.

The queue to the health services is caused by the fact that there has been less non-urgent care available during corona time.
