Ownership restriction of Hitas homes
If you are about to buy a Hitas home in a new build and already own a Hitas home, you must give up your old home before the new one is completed. The giving up refers to both ownership and control. The ownership restriction applies to the whole household, meaning that all persons belonging to the same household must give up their old Hitas homes before the new one is completed.
You can also be a shareholder in only one Hitas home under construction. This condition also applies to group building projects. If you receive the right to buy another new Hitas home, the deed of sale can only be signed once the previous binding reservation or deal has been cancelled.
The ownership restriction of Hitas homes only applies to new Hitas homes. The restriction does not apply to semi-Hitas homes.
