Rask will start her work as a senior advisor to the Mayor of Helsinki Juhana Vartiainen on 8 January 2024.
Mayor Juhana Vartiainen has appointed Heini Rask to his team as a senior advisor, where she will work as Senior Advisor Teresa Salminen's deputy from 8 January to 31 July 2024.
Rask moves to the Mayor’s Office from her previous work at the Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries RT.
She has previously worked on the staff of the Ministry of Finance and as an assistant to a Member of Parliament, where she specialised in policy analysis and consulting as well as communications, lobbying and EU interest monitoring. Rask holds a Master's degree in Agriculture and Forestry from the Department of Economics at the University of Helsinki.
