Espoo, Helsinki, Kauniainen, and Vantaa conducted a customer survey for guardians of children in municipal and private early childhood education and pre-primary education from October 23 to November 17, 2024.
The survey was sent to the guardians of approximately 54,400 children.
The survey results will be announced in Vantaa on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30. The event will be streamed and can be followed live on the City of Vantaa’s website(Link leads to external service).
Are families satisfied with the service they receive? What do children and adults expect from early childhood education?
The results will be presented by Taloustutkimus Oy. After this, the main results will be discussed in a panel where professionals in early childhood education and a guardian of a child in early childhood education will speak.
It was possible to respond to the survey in Finnish, Swedish, English, Estonian, Russian, Albanian, Arabic, and Somali.
The cities of the Helsinki metropolitan area have been conducting the survey since 2008.
