Application period for health and welfare promotion and social, health and rescue services grants to open on 1 April

The Helsinki City Board and the Social Services, Health Care and Rescue Services Committee award grants to organisations, associations and foundations operating in Helsinki whose activities support the implementation of the objectives of the current City Strategy and the statutory welfare and health promotion plan approved by the City Council. Grants for rescue operations are allocated to organisations whose activities are linked to the prevention of accidents, rescue operations or the promotion of civil protection in the city of Helsinki.

The application period for health and welfare promotion and social, health and rescue services grants will begin on 1 April 2023 and end on 2 May 2023 at 16.00.

An information session on the grant application process will be held via Teams on 23 March at 17.00. You do not need to register for the event. You can find the event information and participation link here(Link leads to external service).

Financial training for organisations applying for grants

Organisations applying for grants from the City of Helsinki are also offered financial training. Financial training for organisations will be held on 14 March at 17.00. The event will be streamed live on the Helsinki Channel at www.helsinkikanava.fi (Link leads to external service) You can register for the financial training by 6 March 2023 here(Link leads to external service).  A link for viewing the Helsinki Channel will be sent to those who have registered for the event.  You can also view a recording afterwards.
