The City of Helsinki’s Cultural Environment Programme Workgroup and the Helsinki Neighbourhoods Association Helka organise a themed event on Thursday, 9 June 2022, from 16–18 at the City Hall’s Event Square. The event presents the work carried out by the workgroup and sets out to identify proposals for new actions, approaches and partnerships to promote cultural environments and efforts related to them.
The City of Helsinki is preparing a cultural environment programme. The work on the programme started in 2021 and is due to be completed by the end of 2022. The event at the City Hall is meant to promote the networking between civil society actors and city representatives, inspiring everyone to adopt new approaches together. The best ideas may end up adopted in the cultural environment programme. We invite all civil society actors and residents interested in the subject to join in – let’s innovate together ways to contribute to the preservation of cultural environments in the future!
