Helsinki will launch health station services in Pukinmäki at Säterintie 2 on Tuesday 16 February. Pukinmäki office is part of Malmi health station and it serves Malmi clients.
The shared call-back number of Malmi and Pukinmäki health station services is Malmi’s usual number 09 310 57702. Both offices serve clients on weekdays at 8-16.
Pukinmäki services operate in the same building as the former Pukinmäki health station. The service range includes non-urgent and urgent booked appointments with physicians and nurses, urgent first aid and office services. The building is fully accessible. Respiratory infections such as cough or a runny or stuffy nose will still be treated at Malmi coronavirus health station.
Some Malmi health station clients have been served at nearby health stations during the coronavirus epidemic. From now on appointments are to be booked through the Malmi call-back service.
“We want to offer more centralised services to Malmi health station clients, like elsewhere in Helsinki. At the moment there are two offices,” Medical Director of Health Stations Timo Lukkarinen comments.
“We are establishing an office in Pukinmäki to be able to serve the residents of the Malmi area as well as possible,” Lukkarinen continues.
Malmi health station at Talvelantie 4 currently arranges appointments on the 2nd floor, entrance C. Malmi serves clients with non-urgent and urgent booked appointments, but not with urgent first aid or office services. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor.
Appointments at the building of Malmi health station are restricted due to the coronavirus health station operated downstairs.
The appointments of Malmi maternity and child health clinic continue on the second floor of the health station.
