The first dose of the vaccine can be given to children 4 to 6 months after recovery from COVID-19.

If a child has been diagnosed with a laboratory-confirmed coronavirus infection less than 6 weeks after the first dose, a second dose is recommended at the earliest 4 to 6 months after the infection. If there is a gap of more than 6 weeks between the first dose and the infection, the second dose is not necessary for protection.

Vaccination requires a valid form of ID

In order to get a vaccine, the child’s identity must be proven, for example, with an ID card or Kela card.
