Helsinki City Council has decided to lease new office premises for Helsinki Employment Services in Itäkeskus. Located in the Itis shopping centre at Itäkatu 3, the new premises will facilitate the development of customer service and the centralisation of services into accessible facilities well-suited for the purpose.
“The new office in Itäkeskus will serve as one of Employment Services’ two main offices in Helsinki. We want to use the new premises to also provide entirely new services for jobseekers and businesses,” comments Managing Director Annukka Sorjonen from Helsinki Employment Services.
The new premises in Itäkeskus are modern, accessible and easy to reach by public transport. The total floor area of the premises is roughly 4,100 square metres, and their lease period is 15 years. The new premises will facilitate a broader service selection than before, as well as better utilisation of the facilities for purposes such as client meetings, training courses and events.
The new office will open in the spring of 2026.  The current Itäkeskus office at Asiakkaankatu 3 will continue to serve clients until the new premises are fully ready for use.
