After-school activities in basic education are organised after the school day for 1st- and 2nd-graders and pupils requiring special-needs support. The application period for the activities is in the spring. First-graders and pupils requiring special-needs support are given priority in the allocation of places.

After-school activities provide the child with meaningful activities after the school day in a safe environment, at school or near the school. The activities include playing and spending time with peers, daily outdoor activities and exercise, as well as small excursions to the surrounding area.

After-school activities are subject to a fee, which includes a snack and insurance. The monthly fee is EUR 100 for activities ending at 16.00 and EUR 120 for activities ending at 17.00. You can apply for reduction of or exemption from the fee based on your income.

In the facility

  • The sports facilities have 2 floors.
  • For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold 2 wheelchairs,; the door opens easily manually. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for a stretcher in a lift are width 1.2 m and depth 2.3 m.)
  • The service point has directions to the different facilities.
  • The facility has an accessible toilet on the entrance floor.
  • The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the entrance floor.
  • The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.

Dressing room, shower room and sauna

  • The dressing rooms are located on floor -1.
  • Dressing rooms are also located on floor 0.
  • The facility does not have an accessible dressing room. The men's/women's dressing rooms must be used instead. The door of the dressing room opens easily manually and the doorway has a low threshold.
  • The dressing room has sufficient room for a wheelchair and assistant. There are lockers in the dressing room.
  • The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door of the shower room opens easily manually.
  • The sauna is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door opens easily manually.
  • The sauna has room for one wheelchair.

Sports facilities

  • In the multipurpose sports facility, you can engage in sports such as aerobics, badminton, boxing, dancing, floorball, football, goalball, gym exercise, handball, running, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, yoga.
  • The sides of some sports areas/fields have room for storing aids.
  • The height of the passageways in the multi-purpose arena is appropriate. There are projecting constructions and pillars that pose a risk of collision, and they do not stand out from the other surfaces through luminance contrast. There are not enough wall sockets, but they are on a suitable height (0.4–1.1 meters). The alarm system (fire alarm) works with a sound signal.
