This year, Finnish customer experience

Finnish municipalities and cities, who were awarded the prize for organizing
and implementing COVID-19 vaccinations as a socially significant and
customer-oriented service.

“Over time, municipal and city health
care staff have had to organize and implement the distribution of COVID-19
vaccinations to Finnish citizens in an unprecedented way, on schedule and to a
wide extent. Despite the difficult
task
, they have
performed this unusual and demanding task very smoothly and efficiently,
maintaining the entire vaccination process from the customer experience to the
actual procedure at an excellent level. Thanks to them, about 7.5 million doses
of vaccine have already been given to us Finns. We would like to thank the
health care staff of Finnish municipalities and cities”, was the arguments for the award.

The award was received on behalf of the
entire health care staff by chief nursing officers Tiia Järvenpää and Mia Rönn from the City of Helsinki.

“This is a valuable recognition for the
organization of COVID-19 vaccinations in Finland and Helsinki. Thousands of
health care and other professionals have been involved in arranging COVID-19
vaccinations. For my part, I would also like to thank all those who took part
in this valuable work in all Finnish municipalities. Through COVID-19
vaccinations, we are on the road to enjoying a normal daily life. In this
connection, too, I encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated to seek the
vaccination,” reminds chief nursing officer Tiia Järvenpää
from the City of Helsinki.

“In Helsinki, we have strived to make
vaccinations easy and effortless and to make the process effective. This
recognition shows that we have succeeded in arranging COVID-19 vaccinations in
a customer-oriented manner both in Helsinki and throughout the country,” says
