Sustainable development

The City of Helsinki invests strongly in ecological, social, cultural and economic sustainability and we are committed to realising the goals of the UN’s Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development. We take every opportunity available to us to bolster non-discrimination, equality and opportunities for participation in our city. We also have pledged to become carbon neutral by the year 2030.
