A new Heka senior building is completed in Laajasalo in December with 77 apartments in total. Those over 55 years can apply for the senior apartments. The estimated completion date will be 31 December.
The apartments are open for applications starting from 17 September. You can apply for these apartments by selecting Senior apartment as your search criteria on the application.
Svanströminkuja 5 offers one and two-bedroom apartments with floor areas of 31–56 m². The 5–8-level building has two wings with lifts and accessible entries in the courtyard.
Each apartment has an accessible glazed balcony. All of the homes are designed to be fully accessible. Each apartment includes a warm storage area in the location. The floors of the rooms, hall and kitchen are covered with laminate flooring.
The location features many shared-use areas: a sauna, club room, laundry room, drying room and storage for aid devices. Some of the outdoor equipment storage areas are located on the ground floor of the A wing. The personal storage areas and rest of the outdoor equipment storage areas are located on the ground floor of the B wing.
Twenty parking spaces have been reserved for the residents of the location in a nearby parking facility. Bikes can be stored in the yard and the storage areas on the ground floor. Deep collection containers for waste are located on the adjoining lot.
