What do you think about the summer maintenance of streets and parks? Is there a location in the city that you would especially like to praise or criticise? The City of Helsinki is requesting local residents and visitors to respond to a survey on the success of summer maintenance.
The purpose of the survey is to collect information on the summer maintenance in 2021. Responding to the survey will take about 5–10 minutes. The map-based survey will be available from 26 October to 8 November 2021.
In the survey, you will answer questions about the summer maintenance of pedestrian paths, bicycle paths, roadways and parks. You can provide feedback on a variety of aspects, such as waste bin availability and the condition of park fixtures, including benches and play equipment.
The responses will be used to develop maintenance efforts.
“The summer season overshadowed by the coronavirus crisis drew large crowds to the city’s public areas, especially parks. In our experience, it has been sometimes challenging to respond to the surge in visitor numbers. As such, we would like to collect information on the success of summer maintenance and develop our activities based on the feedback,” says Quality Controller Sari Lilja-Kotamäki of the City of Helsinki Urban Environment Division.
If you have detailed feedback that requires immediate action, please submit it via the city’s feedback channel at hel.fi/feedback.
You can respond to the survey in Finnish, Swedish or English.
