Resident parking discount for a parking hall

Some of the parking facilities in the inner city offer a resident parking discount.

You are eligible for a resident parking discount at a parking hall if you meet the following criteria:

You can park at parking halls offering the resident parking discount from 16.00 to 9.00 on weekdays and at all times on the weekends for EUR 90 per month. If you would like to park in one of these parking halls on from 9.00 to 16.00 on a weekday, you will be charged the normal hourly fee, up to a EUR 18 maximum per day.

How to get a resident parking discount for a parking hall

If you would like to receive a resident parking discount for a parking hall, please contact the Urban Environment Division’s customer service. The customer service staff will verify that you are entitled to the discount and provide your information to the company operating the parking hall. After this, you can then sign an agreement with that company.

If you do not have a resident parking permit, you will need to visit the customer service point in person and present your driving licence and your vehicles’ registration details or your new car’s deed of sale. We will verify your address from the Finnish Population Register, so please first make sure that your information is up to date, if you have recently moved, for instance.

You can only have a resident parking discount agreement with one parking hall for one vehicle at a time. The agreement is signed for a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 months at a time. Please direct any queries about vehicle size restrictions to the company operating the parking hall.
