Playground Mellunmäki is located in a quiet residential area in the Mellunmäki district.

The playground is a place where families with babies and children can play, exercise and meet each other around the year either indoors or outdoors. In addition to sandboxes, swings and various climbing frames, playground features:

- Separate fenced yard for small children
- Paddling pool (in summer)
- Basketball hoop
- Ping pong table
- Floorball goals and equipment
- Artificial turf field with football goals
- Waterplay area with showers, pumps etc. (in summer)
- Baby changing table
- A gravel pitch located near-by, serving as an ice rink in winter and a playing field on a sand bed in summer
- The park features various play equipment and nature where children can play.

Families with babies and children can meet other families at playgrounds, while children can find new friends to play with. Diverse and free-of-charge guided activities are organised at playgrounds in the mornings.

You can heat your own food and make coffee and tea at the playground. Our activities are free of charge and based on Helsinki's curriculum for early childhood education and care.
