Playground Nurkka is located in a multipurpose building in the Heikinlaakso and Puistola districts. The playground has a cosy fireplace room and a large, forested yard.

The playground is a place where families with babies and children can play, exercise and meet each other around the year either indoors or outdoors. In addition to sandboxes, swings and various climbing frames, playground features:

- Separate fenced yard for small children
- Paddling pool (in summer)
- Playing field with football goals on a sand bed
- Ping pong table
- Table football
- Floorball goals and equipment
- Baby changing table
- Children's traffic park (not in winter)

Families with babies and children can meet other families at playgrounds, while children can find new friends to play with. Diverse and free-of-charge guided activities are organised at playgrounds in the mornings.

You can heat your own food and make coffee and tea at the playground. Our activities are free of charge and based on Helsinki's curriculum for early childhood education and care.
