Playground Ulvila

Playground Ulvila is located in the Munkkivuori district, surrounded by lush, green nature.

The playground is a place where families with babies and children can play, exercise and meet each other around the year either indoors or outdoors. In addition to sandboxes, swings and various climbing frames, playground features:

- Paddling pool (in summer)
- A giant bagatelle in the yard (in summer)
- Basketball hoop
- Ice rink (in winter)
- Playing field with football goals on a sand bed
- Ping pong table
- Floorball goals and equipment
- Waterplay area with showers, pumps etc. (in summer)
- Baby changing table

Families with babies and children can meet other families at playgrounds, while children can find new friends to play with. Diverse and free-of-charge guided activities are organised at playgrounds in the mornings.

You can heat your own food and make coffee and tea at the playground. Our activities are free of charge and based on Helsinki's curriculum for early childhood education and care.

The route to the playground area

  • There are no accessible parking spaces near the playground. The nearest parking area .
  • The pick-up and drop-off area is located under 10 m from the playground gate.
  • A smooth and sufficiently wide route leads to the playground gate. The route is illuminated.
  • The passage has 2 consecutive steps.
  • The route has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.
