Stadin Safka

Stadin safka utilises food that would otherwise go to waste, for the benefit of Helsinki residents. At the same time, we are developing food aid together with Helsinki-based food aid operators. Our goal is to bring services closer to food aid, increase people’s participation and community spirit, and make food aid in Helsinki more diverse. Stadin safka is a joint operation by the City of Helsinki and the Parish Union of Helsinki.
