A restaurant with about 70 customer seats, which is located on the second floor of the building, is on offer for rent. An outdoor terrace has also been reserved for the restaurant ground level. A water point and cold room are already included in the restaurant. The tenant is responsible for providing the equipment, machinery and furniture.
Other rentable facilities are located on the 1st and 3rd floors of the building, ranging in size from 9 to 90 square metres. Facilities can be rented by businesses, associations, and individuals.
According to current information, the renovated interior will be handed over to the city during November, and tenants will be able to use facilities as of December. The facilities have been reported in the Oikotie.fi service.
Thanks to the repairs, the building can still be used safely. Among other things, the building’s windows, pipes, electricity, as well as the interior surfaces of office premises have been renovated. The restaurant's kitchen has also been completely renovated.
Work will continue outside the building
The renovation of the building's courtyard and the facade on the courtyard side is underway. The aim is to restore the facade to its original appearance – the granite cladding will be restored to the plinth, and the outer surface will be plastered and painted.
The construction site has reported that the exterior walls will be painted during the autumn, if the weather allows it.
Even after these repairs, the building will still require renovation. Extensive renovation and the rest of the facade repairs will be done later. The schedule for these repairs is open.
