Development teachers (‘kehittäjäopettaja’) at Haaga Comprehensive School are responsible for the school sports events aimed at all schools in Helsinki. Contact them if necessary. In addition, each event has a contact person responsible for that event.

The sports games calendar for the school year 2024-2025 will be published in August 2024.
In general, Finnish-speaking primary schools in Helsinki organise various sports events, including Football Cups for different age groups.

For the Swedish-speaking primary schools in Helsinki, four school sports events are arranged for grades 3–6:
- Athletics, week 36
- Swimming competitions, week 44
- Skating competitions, week 6
- Stafettmästerskap Championship, the week before the Stafettkarnevalen Festival
Teachers take care of the sign-up for pupils at school.
The schools can also participate in the Finlandssvenska skolidrottsförbundet’s (Finnish-Swedish School Sports Association’s) events and the school sports events for all schools in Helsinki.
