Welcome to Riistavuori Senior Centre!Riistavuori is the only senior centre in western Helsinki. The senior centre includes the service homes of Kannelmäki and Munkkiniemi.
Our services
At Kannelmäki Service Centre, you can take part in activities in pleasant company and get support for your everyday life.
At Munkkiniemi Service Centre, you can take part in activities in pleasant company and get support for your everyday life.
At the Riistavuori Service Centre, you can connect with new people and spend time in pleasant company. You can participate in peer support groups and explore a variety of hobbies. Riistavuori hosts cultural events throughout the year.
At day activities Oravanpesä, we serve older people living at home in western Helsinki, whose memory or functional capacity has decreased.
At day activities Sinilintu, we serve older people living at home in western Helsinki, whose memory or functional capacity has decreased.
At day activities Urkuri, we serve older people living at home in western Helsinki, whose memory or functional capacity has decreased.
Kannelmäki Service Home offers homely housing and rehabilitative day activities.
At the Munkkiniemi Service Home, we enjoy spending time together.
Communal housing might suit you if you do not yet need 24-hour care, but you are no longer able to live in your home with the help of home delivery services or the support of your loved ones.
When you can no longer live at home and need 24-hour care, you can get a home in a service home or group home.
At our assessment and rehabilitation unit Tammihovi we promote your functional capacity and assess what kind of support and follow-up care you will need following hospital treatment, for example.
We support your well-being as an informal carer by providing short-term care for care receivers in our senior centres.

The route to the main entrance
- The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.

- The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.

The main entrance
- The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
- The doors connected to the entrance are hard to perceive. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.

- The doors in the facility are hard to perceive.
