Töölö Senior Centre

The Töölö Senior Centre is the centre of active life and living.

The Töölö Senior Centre offers 24-hour housing in the service home and group homes near the Finnish National Opera and the Olympic Stadium. Our residents are provided with accessible connections to a gazebo in our lush courtyard and the Töölö service centre.

The day activities of the senior centre are intended for elderly people living at home and families in informal care. We take the wishes of the residents into account in our day activities. Our objective is to ensure that our residents can enjoy a pleasant time together.

The Töölö service centre is a comfortable living room where you can spend time and participate in different exercise and hobby groups and events. The service centre can also provide you with help and support for your everyday life, if needed.

Furthermore, activities for informal care clients are organised at the Töölö Senior Centre.

  • The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
  • The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.

In the facility

  • The customer service point is located on the entrance floor.
  • The doors in the facility stand out clearly. The glass doors have contrast markings.
  • The facility has an accessible toilet.
  • There is a second accessible toilet on floor 2.
  • The service point has a fixed induction loop in the assembly hall, gym.
