At our gym, you can train independently using our versatile and safe fitness equipment. Before you start training by yourself, you will receive guidance on how to use the equipment.

Guidance on the use of gym equipment

- Thursdays at 11.15–12. (not on 26 December).
Exercise independently at the gym
The schedule 23.12.2024–3.1.2025. Please note that the servcie centre is closed 24.–26.12.2024, 1.1.2025 and on 6.1.2025.
- Monday at 8–15.30.
- Tuesday at 8–10 and 12–15.30. Physiotherapist at the gym at 14–15.
- Wednesday at 8–9.30, 10.30–13
- Thursday at 8–10 and 12–15.30
- Friday at 8–9 and 12–15.30.

The route to the main entrance
- The 3 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors under 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
- The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
The main entrance
- The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
- The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
In the facility
- The sports facilities are located on floor -2.
- For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
- The service point has directions to the different facilities.
- The facility has an accessible toilet on the entrance floor.
- The customer service/cashier's desk is located on floor 1.
- The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily and has a fixed induction loop. The desk has sections of varying heights and is accessible to customers standing only.
- At the customer service/cashier's desk, you can borrow a wheelchair, rollator walker.
Dressing room, shower room and sauna
- The dressing rooms are located on floor -2.
- Dressing rooms are also located on floor 2.
- The facility does not have an accessible dressing room. The men's/women's dressing rooms must be used instead. The door of the dressing room opens easily manually and the doorway has a low threshold.
- The dressing room has sufficient room for a wheelchair and assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. There are lockers in the dressing room.
- The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door of the shower room opens easily manually.
- The facility does not have a sauna.
Sports facilities
- The door of the gym opens easily by hand. Unobstructed mobility with a wheelchair or other aids is possible in the gym. The equipment can also be accessed with aids. Some of the equipment can be used from a wheelchair. The equipment is within everyone's reach (storage height 0.8-1.2 m).
- The gym equipment are highlighted from the floor with contrast. There is no glare in the gym.
