You can participate in the group's meetings if you have signed an informal care agreement with the City of Helsinki and your caregiving role is ending soon.
The group provides support for your changing life situation when your loved one transfers to long-term care outside the home.
Together, we will discuss issues that are important to the group members, such as coping, wellbeing, emotions, and transitioning away from caregiving responsibilities. The group will meet three times.
The groups are available only in Finnish and are organised by the City of Helsinki together with Omaisena edelleen ry, an association that supports informal caregivers.
