Health care and social welfare messages and letters now in digital format

As of 14 April 2026, you will receive messages and letters from the City of Helsinki’s health and social services digitally not only in Maisa, but also in Suomi.fi Messages. Paper mail from authorities will remain an option for everyone.

Service centre locations

Helsinki has a total of 15 service centres for seniors and the unemployed. You are welcome to visit any one of them, independent of where you live in the city.

At service centres, we offer you a wide range of activities to engage in and nice ways to spend your time. You can come by and read the newspaper or have lunch at the restaurant. We are also here to help you with any questions you might have regarding services in Helsinki.

You can visit our premises and explore the activities of our open groups without enrolment. We are happy to tell you more.

Get your service centre card free-of-charge from the information desk at any of our service centres.
