Preventive occupational health services are available to all employees employed by the City of Helsinki. Medical care services are available to employees who work full-time for the City of Helsinki and who have not been absent from work without pay for longer than 30 days.

Mehiläinen provides occupational health services through multiprofessional teams at designated occupational health service points.
These multiprofessional teams comprise occupational health nurses, doctors and psychologists as well as occupational physiotherapists and work ability coaches. Moreover, all Mehiläinen service points are available to employees of the City of Helsinki in the event that they require medical attention.
