We provide services for individuals without housing, including meal and hygiene services, health and social services, as well as emergency housing.

Many of our services are offered free of charge and are available to individuals regardless of whether they are staying at the emergency housing service location.

It's important to note that intoxication does not prevent you from accessing our services.

Our services 

We offer a free-of-charge breakfast and an affordable lunch and dinner every day of the week. Our canteen is open daily 7.30–18.00. 

Meal times: 

  • breakfast 7.30–9.30 

  • lunch 11.00–13.00 

  • dinner 16.15–17.30 

Our sauna and shower facilities are available for your use every day. We also provide donated clothing and offer free laundry services to wash the clothes you are currently wearing. 

The sauna and laundry service are available every day 7.30–13.00. 

You can meet with a nurse, doctor, social worker and social instructor at the service centre without an appointment.  

  • The nurses and doctor are available without an appointment Mon–Fri 8.30–12.00. 
  • The social instructors are available without an appointment Mon–Fri 8.00–11.00. The service is intended for people staying in the emergency accommodation and other visitors to the service centre.

The service centre regularly hosts various partner receptions and services, including the Special Care Outpatient Clinic, church-led special social work and a foot therapist. 

If you are in need of accommodation for a night or over the weekend, we can provide you with a place to stay or guide you to our other available locations. 

Our doors are open from 17.00–3.00, and overnight accommodation is offered until all beds are occupied. However, please note that you must vacate the emergency housing premises by 09.00. 

If you prefer, you can also reserve a bed in advance between 9.00–16.00. To secure your booked bed, please arrive by 20.00. 

The overnight stay is free of charge, and you will be sharing the room with other individuals. We also welcome individuals who are under the influence of substances.

If you are in need of temporary housing, you can apply for a one-person cellular accommodation. Please consult the social instructors or social workers at the service centre to discuss your housing needs. 

The cost for temporary housing in a cellular apartment is EUR 14.60 per day.

The route to the main entrance

  • The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.

  • The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
  • In connection with the entrance, there is 1 step.
  • The entrance has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.
  • The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door requires the use of a buzzer, opening easily manually. The buzzer has a light signal.

The entrance "alternative entrance"

  • The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
  • The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door requires the use of a buzzer, opening easily manually. The buzzer has a light signal.

In the facility

  • The customer service point has 5 floors.
  • For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
  • The doors in the facility stand out clearly. The glass doors have contrast markings.
  • The facility has an accessible toilet on floor 1.
  • There is a second accessible toilet on floor 2.
  • There is a third accessible toilet on floor 3.
